What is it? A group of people who believe passionately that the events industry needs a professional association. An association that represents all those of us who work in the industry - whether full time or as a part of our overall job responsibility - whether supplier or booker. And an association that is recognised by all professionals in the industry.
Who are we? The initial founder members and directors are Clyde Carroll, Sarah Carroll, Des Doris, Lucy Horan and Elaine O'Connor. We have all been involved in setting up the Events Industry Skillnet, and most of us have been involved in running NEO Ireland - the Network for Events Organisers in Ireland.
Why C4EE? Because we need to have defined standards. We need professional recognition. We also still need a network which has a slightly different role - it's role is to provide a meeting space and market place.
